This was a rapid introduction to archery for me, having never fired an arrow. I learned to hit the target under Dave’s expert tuition very quickly, and then the focus shifted to a highly structured and routine style of instructing, which has been proven since to be a robust and safe.
We work with children with additional needs, and Dave’s course has been invaluable in helping these guys to follow rule-based learning, have positive experiences and gain a genuine sense of success. The course goes beyond instructing, and we learned to set up a range (we built our own outdoor archery range with what we learned), and we learned all about the equipment needed to run sessions. Archery is now a big part of our work thanks to Dave’s effective course.

I absolutely loved this archery training course! Dave is an excellent instructor who explains everything so clearly and has a lots of of patience. He walked us through the whole process and gave us some great tips for our own students. You’ll get so much out of this course. I highly recommend it.

it was an amazing course i really liked it y i enjoyed it a lot, the instructor was always really clear and i could understand him perfectly.

The last two days I’ve been doing something that I’ve always dreamed to do: Archery! I never imagined I would be able to do archery like that, but with the easy explanations of our instructor Dave, it was easy, understandable and fun! I had a great time in the two days of archery instruction, I could even repeat the course again.

I recently completed the two-day Archery GB Instructor Course with Dave Leader, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Dave made the course both fun and informative, combining clear instruction with hands-on practice. His emphasis on safety and proper technique was outstanding, and he created a relaxed, engaging environment that made learning easy and enjoyable. Just wanted to send a BIG thank you for a great course on Tuesday & Wednesday. It was a really fun couple of days, and I felt that you have the perfect balance of knowing when to keep it light and humorous, and when to be focused on the safety and the task at hand. It was a great training, and I am genuinely so inspired to continue to develop my instructing skills and to keep diving into this industry.

I learned a lot of new and interesting things and above all to provide security to everyone. I generate security with myself too and feel able to lead a session. Having fun and teaching.

It was amazing, I really like how the instructor has teaching us, and how he demonstrate all his knowledge to us, I really like the book he gave to us, it was full of important information of how to do archery, they show us you a page that has games, that we play some of the games were very nice.

Despite the weather Dave made sure everyone had a fantastic time. Full of witty comments, he made everyone feel at ease and able to learn. Happy to answer all the silly questions and ensure everyone understood everything.

This was an amazing course ran by Dave. The two days flew by as we had so much fun relearning the ways of Archery!
It was a little nerve racking at first but Dave was amazing at breaking the ice and getting us all comfortable with eachother. His feedback was friendly, clear and helpful.
We learnt proper archery procedures, new terminology, fun games and so much more.
Highly recommend this course for people beginning their archery teaching journey as well as for instructors to really improve their sessions!

I recently attended the ArcheryGB Instructor course facilitated by Aim4Sport. Dave was very professional, and at the same time made me feel very relaxed. The course was well-paced and to the point. I thought that I got exactly what I needed from it and came away feeling very confident in what I had learned. The course workbook/textbook was a great addition very well laid out, and answers all the questions you might have. Dave tailored the course to fit the group dynamic and is clearly passionate about what he does. Overall, I was very pleased and would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Dave is a brilliant coach. It’s a really hard balance to teach the teacher but he excelled and tailored the course for us and our specific use cases in the cadet environment. Thank you for an excellent weekend and a lot of laughs along the way.

The two-day course my team and I undertook was nothing short of exceptional. The training we were given was highly educational and engaging, not to mention very fun as well! I can happily say that I am more than comfortable enough to lead groups of my own in an archery session thanks to the training aim4sport has provided me with.
